First Presbyterian Church is now accepting registrations for their annual MAD2 (music, art, dance, and drama) day camp.
MAD2 has campers spending time in sessions specifically designed for their age levels. A dedicated group of vetted and trained volunteers accompany the campers throughout the camp.
Fort Wayne Youtheatre, Fort Wayne Dance Collective, and Happy Keys return to lead their specialty arts classes June 2-6 from 8:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m. A showcase and reception will take palace on Friday, June 6, at 6 p.m. Registration is $60 for one child, $80 for two siblings, and $100 for three siblings.
All campers must live in the same household to qualify for discounts. Scholarships and a wait list are available as needed. Spaces are limited to the first 100 campers to register.

Easter activities for all ages
A number of local businesses are holding Easter festivities for the public to participate in.
- KB Photo will hold photo sessions with bunnies at Kid to Kid, 4122 Lima Road, on Friday, April 11, from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and at Pointe Inverness, 7051 Pointe Inveness Way, on Tuesday, April 15, from 4-6:30 p.m. Bunny pictures start at $25 with both digital and print copies available.
- Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group, 7553 W. Jefferson Blvd., will hold an Easter Carnival on Saturday, April 12, from 10 a.m.-noon. The Easter Bunny will be on hand for photos, and kids can play carnival games to earn tickets to win goodie bags. Admission is a canned good to keep their Little Free Pantry stocked.
- Sage Bluff Health and Rehabilitation, 4180 Sage Bluff Crossing, will hold an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 12, from 1-4 p.m. The event will also include Easter cookies, a gift basket raffle, games, and crafts.
- Young’s Greenhouse & Florist, 5867 Lake Ave., will hold an Adult Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 12, from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Tickets are free and are available at eventbrite.com.
Playpen welcomes sporty toddlers
Playpen Sports Academy is holding toddler sports classes for ages 2-6 throughout the spring.
Classes include soccer (ages 2-6), baseball (ages 3-6), basketball (ages 3-5), golf (ages 3-5), and PlayActive (ages 2-6).

Harvester Neighborhood seeks artists
The City of Fort Wayne, through its Public Art Commission, is seeking proposals from artists to work collaboratively with Harvester Neighborhood residents and create a piece of permanent art for the neighborhood.

The permanent art is the second phase of the Public Art Commission’s Shout-Out: Fort Wayne program which is designed to empower neighborhoods and develop and activate their unique identities through public art. Local artist, media producer, and filmmaker William Bryant Rozier is the project manager for this initiative and will work with the selected artist to incorporate input and ideas from Harvester residents.
A budget of $20,000 is available for the project and includes compensation for the artist’s time, all the materials for the artwork, and installation.
