It’s upon us: That time of year when you hear … what sounds like … bombs bursting in air in celebration of the Fourth of July.

For some, it’s a delight to watch fireworks. For others, it’s a torment as they blast off around the neighborhood.

Well, we might not be able to predict when your neighbors will be blasting off fireworks (odds are every night), but we’ve done our best to chronicle where they will be set off for public consumption.

So, without further ado, here’s our list of activities and scheduled fireworks displays.

Albion

9:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 3: Get your spot at Central Noble High School.

Angola

9:30 p.m. Thursday, July 4: Festivities begin with 11 a.m. parade followed by activities, live music, and vendors at Commons Park. Fireworks are at dusk.

Berne

6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 4: Red, White, & Blue Festival will have golf cart parade to First Mennonite Church at 6:30 p.m., followed by live music by Gabe Bailey & Rock Steady at 8 p.m., and fireworks at dusk.

Bluffton

10 p.m. Thursday, July 4: Display will be set off from WEG parking lot, just north of Boys & Girls Club.

Churubusco

9 p.m. Saturday, July 6: Fireworks display take place over Blue Lake.

Columbia City

9:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 3: Vendors will be selling food at 5 p.m. and bounce house opens at 6 p.m. at Morsches Park ahead of fireworks at dusk.

Decatur

7 p.m. Thursday, July 4: Festivities begin with live music by Jon Bon Jovi tribute act Crush, followed by ceremony by American Legion Color Guard at 9 p.m. and fireworks at dusk at Riverside Park.

Fort Wayne

9:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 3: Fireworks at Lifeway Wesleyan Church, 7722 Moeller Road, begin at dusk, with free hot dogs and popcorn, games, and music beforehand.

9:45 p.m. Thursday, July 4: Display will begin at dusk at Concordia Lutheran School and Preschool, 4245 Lake Ave.

10 p.m. Thursday, July 4: Downtown will come alive when fireworks are set off atop the I&M Power Center.

10 p.m. Thursday, July 4: Holy Scripture Evangelical Lutheran Church, 8811 Kinnerk Road, will offer food, drinks, live music, and games with fireworks beginning around 10 p.m.

Garrett

10 p.m. Thursday, July 4: Display comes at conclusion of Garrett Heritage Days that begins Wednesday, July 3, at Eastside Park. Independence Day festivities include car show, chalk walk, talent show, Bucket Brigade Challenge & Waterball at 2 p.m., and pageant at 6 p.m.

Hamilton

9:30 p.m. Saturday, June 29: Fireworks display comes at conclusion of day that begins with parade at noon and a day full of downtown activities.

Huntington

9:30 p.m. Thursday, July 4: Parking begins at 6 p.m. at Crestview Middle School, Parkview Hospital, and YMCA for display that begins at dusk.

Lake James

10 p.m. Saturday, July 6: Takes place over the first basin of lake, with best spot at Pokagon State Park’s Potawatomi Inn lawn.

Leesburg

10 p.m. Saturday, July 6: Paulus family will set off fireworks over Sechrist Lake.

Leo-Cedarville

9:30 p.m. Saturday, June 29: Fireworks come at conclusion of Freedom Festival at Riverside Gardens Park. Food trucks will arrive at 4 p.m., followed by kids activities and cruise-in at 5 p.m., A Salute to Our Freedom ceremony by American Legion Post 409 at 6 p.m., and live music by G-Money Band at 7:30 p.m.

Markle

7 p.m. Thursday, July 4: Fireworks will come at conclusion of Independence Day Celebration that includes food, activities, and live music from Sunglasses at Night.

North Manchester

10 p.m. Thursday, July 4: Fireworks will be held at Manchester High School.

North Webster

10 p.m. Saturday, July 6: Fireworks display will be held over Webster Lake.

Ossian

9:30 p.m. Friday, July 5: Festivities for Fireworks on the Hill at Archbold Wilson Park begin at 5 p.m. with live music, food trucks, and children’s activities.

Roann

Dusk, Saturday, July 6: Fireworks will be set off at pulling track on Indiana Route 16.

Roanoke

Dusk, Saturday, July 6: Festivities begin at 6 p.m. with fireworks at dusk.

Rome City

Dusk, Saturday, July 6: Food trucks will be at Front Street at 5 p.m. with fireworks set off from the Sylvan Lake dam at dusk.

Syracuse

10:15 p.m. Saturday, July 6: Display is synchronized with music from 103.5 FM over Lake Wawasee.

Wabash

10 p.m. Thursday, July 4: Fireworks will be set off at Field of Dreams off Water Ridge Parkway 10.

Warren

9:30 p.m. Sunday, July 7: Fireworks display will close out Salamonie Summer Festival at Tower Park following live music from Mountain Dewe Boys.

Winona Lake

8 p.m. Saturday, June 29: Symphony of the Lakes will perform “Salute to America” at Miller Sunset Pavilion, followed by fireworks.
