Rock & Roar at Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo is back! The summer music series for those 21 and older will take place on select Fridays throughout the summer and feature some of the local music scene’s favorite acts.

This year’s lineup includes Good Night Gracie on June 28, James & The Drifters on July 12, Whoa, Man! on July 26, JacksonVibe on Aug. 9, and The Sweetwater All Stars on Aug. 23.

What’s cool about these events is that not only do you get to hear good music, but you can purchase an adult beverage and stroll through Central Zoo, Asian Trek, Indiana Family Farm, and Australian Outback Adventure. The Crocodile Creek Adventure Ride, Z.O&O Railroad, and Endangered Species Carousel rides are included with admission. How cool is that? I mean, when else can you sip on an IPA, wave at the monkeys, relax on a canoe ride, and listen to some good tunes?

Tickets for each event can be purchased online at kidszoo.org.
