A couple of worthy shows have been added to Embassy Theatre’s ever-growing 2024 calendar that would make for a great stocking stuffer this Christmas.
First up, on Saturday, March 23, multitalented comedian/actor/singer/writer Rodney Carrington will be making a stop in at the historic theater aboard his new tour.
A platinum-selling recording artist, Carrington performs sold out shows around the globe as one of the highest-grossing touring comedians the past two decades.
The Embassy also has some good news for Christian rock fans as the Casting Crowns are gearing up for a tour in 2024 which includes a Fort Wayne stop on Friday, April 19.
The highly anticipated 20th Anniversary Tour will be accompanied by a captivating live symphony.
Whether you’re a longtime fan or a newbie, the Embassy performance is an unmissable opportunity to witness Casting Crowns’ unforgettable melodies, soaring vocals, and the harmonious fusion of contemporary Christian music intertwined with a symphony.
Tickets for both shows go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 15, at fwembassytheatre.org, ticketmaster.com, and at the Embassy box office.
Michael Jackson tribute act stands alone
Over the years, we have witnessed a couple of different Michael Jackson tribute acts come to town to give us our dose of all The King of Pop classics.
On Saturday, June 29, The Clyde will add another to the list when they open their stage to Invincible: A Glorious Tribute to Michael Jackson.
Invincible is a multimedia spectacle featuring up to 17 musicians, vocalists, and dancers, choreographed by longtime Jackson choreographer and dancer Lavelle Smith Jr.
Invincible are the only tribute act endorsed by Jackson family patriarch, Joe Jackson.
You may think all tributes to this pop music giant are the same, but Invincible authentically capture the spirit and essence of a Jackson performance.
You know you want to come out and sing along to hits such as “Billie Jean,” “Beat It,” “Smooth Criminal,” and “Thriller,” so why don’t you?
Tickets for this all-ages show can be purchased at clydetheatre.com, by calling (800) 514-3849, or by going to The Clyde box office and Sweetwater Sound.
