Disturbed have announced a 2025 tour to mark 25 years of their debut album The Sickness.

The Chicago metal heavyweights will play two sets each night, one of which sees them perform that album in full, while the other is composed of greatest hits.

Disturbed released The Sickness on March 7, 2000, reaching No. 29 on the Billboard 200.

Disturbed’s latest album, Divisive, came out in 2022. Guitarist Dan Donegan said in July that there won’t be a new Disturbed album this year, and there may not be one next year.

Check them out with Three Days Grace and Sevendust at United Center in Chicago on March 8 and at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit on March 10.

Daughtry and Nothing More will then be the opening acts when they visit Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati on March 29, Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland on March 31, and Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on April 9.

Gang of Four say farewell

Iconic post-punk band Gang of Four will tour North America one last time in 2025.

The band’s current iteration featuring Jon King, Hugo Burnham, and David Pajo will set out on a trek in celebration of their farewell as well as the 45th anniversary of their debut album, Entertainment!.

Gang of Four are often cited as big influences on bands as diverse as R.E.M., Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails, and Rage Against the Machine, as well as Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Sleater-Kinney, and St. Vincent.

The Long Goodbye 2025 North American Tour will stop at The Magic Bag in Detroit on May 7 and Bottom Lounge in Chicago the following night.

Zeds Dead get salty

Zeds Dead are renaming Chicago’s Salt Shed Zeds Shed for three nights when the electronic music duo return for their annual run in the city just ahead of the Christmas holiday.

Zeds Shed will be open Dec.  19-21 featuring the Canadian duo’s eclectic blend of dubstep, U.K. garage, house, electro house, hip-hop, glitch, and drum and bass.

It is safe to say you won’t know what to expect from these shows, but they will be filled with amazing, genre-bending music.

Perfect trio of rock

A Perfect Circle, Primus, and Puscifer have announced a second leg of their wildly successful Sessanta tour, cleverly named Sessanta V2.0.

The tour continues the celebration of A Perfect Circle/Puscifer/Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan’s 60th birthday and will stop in at Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville on May 24, Blossom Music Center outside Cleveland on May 25, and Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids on May 28.

As you probably know, Keenan does double duty during the show, so Keenan fans will get a lot to hear during the night.

“The Sessanta run was by far the most fun and delicious extended birthday party I’ve ever had thanks to all the attendees and the master musicianship of Primus, Puscifer, and A Perfect Circle. No comparison,” said Keenan, who will be celebrating his 61st birthday on this upcoming run. “Decided we need to share this with people who missed the first round in places we couldn’t get to. Strap in.”
