Dave Matthews Band have announced their annual summer trek across the United States. 

The 2025 dates include Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, on May 30, Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati on June 13, a two-night stay at Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island in Chicago from June 27-28, Pine Knob Music Center in Detroit on July 9, and a two-night stay at Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville from July 11-12. 

As part of the tour, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers will continue their long-running partnerships with The Nature Conservancy and Reverb and renewed their partnership with Live Nation venues to minimize the environmental footprint of their concerts. 

The Nature Conservancy’s Plant a Billion Trees campaign will bring the total to 6 million trees planted since DMB teamed up with TNC in 2020 to support reforestation. 

Unfortunately, DMB had to pull out of the recent FireAid concert in Los Angeles “due to a critical illness in the family,” according to their Instagram page.

Lainey Wilson goes big

Country star Lainey Wilson is packing up her boots and heading out on the road this summer. 

Wilson will embark on the Whirlwind Tour in Europe at the start of March before heading to the States for a stop at Pine Knob Music Center in Detroit on Sept. 26 followed by Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids on Sept. 27, Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville on Oct. 3, Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, on Oct. 4, and Allstate Arena in Chicago on Oct. 17. 

“Life is a whirlwind, but I’ll tell you what — what you’re about to see here is a breeze,” Wilson said on her Instagram page following the announcement.

Faster Horses Fest called off

In an social media announcement, Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, Michigan, said their Faster Horses Festival would not take place this year. 

“We are taking the year to make plans for a bigger and better Faster Horses for our fans who deserve the absolute best,” the post reads.

The announcement does not provide a specific reason for the cancelate, but it asks that everyone continue to support live music in Michigan. 

Past festivals have featured many notable country artists including Shania Twain, Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, and Hardy.

Revisit Sepultura albums

The Brothers Cavalera, Max and Igor, of Cavalera Conspiracy are hitting the road in 2025 to play their Third World Trilogy, otherwise known as the Sepultura albums Bestial Devastation from 1985, Morbid Visions from 1986, and Schizophrenia from 1987. 

The tour kicks off in February and visits House of Blues in Chicago on March 5 and The Vogue in Indianapolis the following night. 

All dates will be opened by Necrot and Dead Heat.

Tedeschi travel with friends

Live favorites Tedeschi Trucks Band will hit the road for a run of shows that includes a mix of headlining performances, special guest collaborations, and co-headlining dates with Whiskey Myers and Gov’t Mule

The Aug. 23 stop at Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville and the Aug. 25 show at Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati are with Whiskey Myers, while Sept. 9 at Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island in Chicago and Sept. 10 at Pine Knob Music Theatre in Detroit will be with Gov’t Mule. 

Tedeschi Trucks are supporting their 2022 album, I Am the Moon.
