‘Want people to be happy’

This exciting pop-up event in this 21-and-older venue invites the community to support local female artists as they present a vibrant collection of Pop Surrealism.

Cox is a tattoo artist at The Painted Lady, 1305 E. State Blvd., which is owned by Allday.

You may also have seen Rice’s work around town under the pseudonym Subliminally.

The art show blends elements of tattoo culture and bold pop art, celebrating tattoo artistry and street art aesthetics.

With bold, fun, and rebellious energy, the show bridges the gap between body art and contemporary visual art, reflecting the artists’ roots in the world of tattoos.

For Cox, the artwork is all about providing some positivity in a sometimes-not-too-positive world.

“We just want people to be happy when they view our work, no motive, no agenda” she said. “We are a couple of loose screws (aren’t we all) and wanted to highlight that acknowledging the crazy in life is beautiful.”
