Country megastar Thomas Rhett is set to hit the road in the summer as the singer recently announced his Better in Boots Tour.

The son of award-winning country crooner Rhett Akins, Rhett is responsible for 21 singles that have charted on the Billboard Hot Country and Country Airplay charts, with 20 reaching the No. 1 position on the latter.

Songs like “It Goes Like This,” “Get Me Some of That,” “Make Me Wanna,” “Crash and Burn,” and “Die a Happy Man” are sure to be on the setlist when Rhett visits Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville on June 14, Pine Knob Music Center in Detroit on Aug. 8, and Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati on Aug. 15.

Oasis bring tour to U.S.

Oasis recently announced the North American dates of their Oasis Live ’25 world tour.

Somewhere along the line, unbeknownst to me, the band became an act worthy of filling stadiums and they have booked the tour to prove it. The trek begins at Chicago’s Soldier Field on Aug. 25, the only show in our region, with Cage the Elephant opening.

To their credit, the band are opting out of the dynamic ticketing employed at many shows by Ticketmaster as huge demand during the U.K. sale caused many fans frustration and angered many more.

“It is widely accepted that dynamic pricing remains a useful tool to combat ticket touting and keep prices for a significant proportion of fans lower than the market rate and thus more affordable,” the press release about the tour stated. “But, when unprecedented ticket demand (where the entire tour could be sold many times over at the moment tickets go on sale) is combined with technology that cannot cope with that demand, it becomes less effective and can lead to an unacceptable experience for fans. We have made this decision for the North America tour to hopefully avoid a repeat of the issues fans in the U and Ireland experienced recently.”
