Shop vintage at Holiday Hootenanny
It is no secret that Fort Wayne is a hotbed for vintage goods and vendors. Whether you are wanting to spice up your wardrobe or snag a decorative item that takes you back to your childhood, plenty of thrift stores, vintage shops, and market events are inviting you to capture such treasures.
One opportunity will be Holiday Hootenanny 3, which is set to take place at Wunderkammer Co. on Sunday, Dec. 11, from noon-6 p.m.
There will be an array of vintage vendors, local makers, and food and beverage vendors from Fort Wayne and out of town.
If you attended the previous Hoots, then you know how quickly the parking lot fills, so plan accordingly. Maybe carpool with your buddies or hop on a bike if weather permits and take part in this awesome event. If anything, it is a great opportunity to tackle all of your holiday shopping in one stop.
Social media comedian coming to Piere’s
Piere’s welcomes comedian Andrew Conn to town on Saturday, Feb. 4, at 8 p.m.
Conn, a Kentucky native, has been dominating stages with his southern twang, playful personality, and comical facial expressions. He has been referred to by some as a redneck Jim Carrey. He is also a prime example of the power of social media since he broke ground from simply posting videos and has been riding the momentum ever since. His andrewconn05 TikTok account has gained 230,000 followers.
Tickets are available via etix.com and in person at all Wooden Nickel locations and Neat Neat Neat Records.
Brass Rail welcomes in country punkabilly act
The country punkabilly act Whiskey Daredevils are returning to The Brass Rail stage on Saturday, Dec. 3, at 8 p.m.
These Cleveland thrill-seekers have been touring the countryside for a number of years, entertaining crowds with explosive rural rock performances, somersaulting rockabilly, punk, surf, cattle westerns, country, and good old-fashioned rock n’ roll. These cats are always a treat to see when they come to town.
Joining them that evening will be Uncle Muscle and fellow Cleveland rockers Red Devil Ryders.
All this fun will dent your wallet only $10 at the door.
