Pay tribute to King Crimson

King Crimson members Adrian Belew and Tony Levin will celebrate the music of that progressive band with a tour this fall alongside a new band featuring Tool drummer Danny Carey and guitar legend Steve Vai

The project, dubbed Beat, will perform selections from the three albums King Crimson released in the 1980s: Discipline, Beat, and Three of a Perfect Pair

“The 1981 through 1984 King Crimson created a music all its own,” Belew said in a press release. “Timeless. Beautiful. Complex. Fierce.

“For the fans who lived through it then, and the ones who never got to witness it, our aim is to bring it to life again.”

Check it out when the tour stops at Agora Theatre in Cleveland on Oct. 25, Taft Theatre in Cincinnati on Oct. 26, Royal Oak Music Theatre in Detroit on Oct. 27, Old National Centre in Indianapolis on Oct. 30, and Copernicus Center in Chicago on Nov. 1.
