Help Just Cream raise money for appliance

Just Cream Ice Cream Boutique, 338 E. Dupont Road, is hosting a fundraising raffle to replace a critical ice cream case.

“This year has been incredibly challenging for us,” a post on their Facebook page reads. “Unfortunately, over the last year we have spent thousands of dollars trying to repair one of our cases, only to find out that it was unfixable. This loss has put a significant strain on us, and we need your help.”

Entering its ninth season, the shop aims to raise $5,000 by May 1. The raffle is also being used instead of needing to raise prices.

Every raffle ticket allows participants to win one of five prizes, with the grand prize being free ice cream for a year — one scoop per week for 52 weeks — with a VIP ice cream party for up to 10 guests and a custom merchandise bundle.

Additional prizes include gift cards, personalized sundae kits, the opportunity to create a limited-edition flavor, and ice cream gift sets.
