Artlink BASH, a ’50s Mod cocktail party, will be held Thursday, Oct. 10, from 5-8 p.m. and kick off Artlink’s fourth annual art auction
benefiting exhibitions, educational programs, and local artists.
Along with meeting artists and enjoying live music, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and dessert, guests are invited to preview the artwork in the gallery, start bidding, and select the “Buy Now” option on any must-have artwork or must-attend artists’ workshops.
The raffle drawing will be at 7:40 p.m. with tickets being $10 each, or you can nab six for $50. You must be at least 18 years old and need not be present to win.
The gallery and online art auction will open to the public Friday, Oct. 11.
The auction will be on exhibit and open to the public during Artlink’s regular hours: 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Friday-Saturday, Oct. 11-12, and noon-5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13.

Erin’s House host pair of fundraisers
Erin’s House for Grieving Children will host an online silent auction fundraiser from noon on Wednesday, Oct. 9, to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11.
The three-day auction features getaways, experiences, and local treats. Funds raised ensure no grieving family is charged a fee for peer-support programs and camps.
For those looking to support the nonprofit with an in-person event, their Wine for the Spirit live auction is from 6-11 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11, in the GE Club at Electric Works.
The live auction, which requires a $250 ticket, will have chef tastings, an open bar, and silent auction bidding. For tickets, go to erinshouse.org/auction.
Photographers invited to Bell Mansion
The Bell Mansion, a 131-year-old Victorian mansion in the heart of downtown Fort Wayne, will host a spooky shootout Sunday, Oct. 6, from 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
The entry fee is $100, which grants photographers the opportunity to come together and photograph at a unique location in a stress-free environment. While no formal education is provided, photographers will gain knowledge through observation, new perspectives, experimenting with new techniques, and networking with fellow photographers.
Each photographer must bring a model, and attention should be paid to the “spooky” theme. Each photographer must bring their own camera gear and if needed lighting equipment.
