Nothing says party quite like composting, and to prove that, Dirt Wain is hosting a Compost Festival from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 4, at 450 W. Washington Blvd. in Fort Wayne.
Have fun and benefit others as you get knee deep into the benefits of decomposition. Bring your old jack-o-lanterns and gourds to the celebration and donate them to Dick’s Organics, where they will be turned into feed for rescue animals.
There will also be live music from Bloody Tambourine Band, offerings from area food trucks, and the opportunity to play composting games and take advantage of the chance to discuss composting and other ecological concerns with a host of experts in the field.
