Auburn Brewing hosts frightful events
Before we turn attention to the Christmas holiday like a few of the retail stores have already done, we probably should tackle Halloween first.
Events are already rolling in and will have you making the most out of that costume you spent your hard-earned money on, one of which will take place at the Auburn Brewing Company on Saturday, Oct. 29, from 5:30-10 p.m. In addition to the tasty brews, you can enjoy a costume contest and live rock by Static Fly. If I were a betting man, I’d put my money on there being some sort of beer release to coincide with the event. The costume contest will get under way at 8 p.m. with the music at 8:30 p.m. There will be no cover charge, and the event is open to ages 21 and up.
If you are on the “haunt” for more, the week beforehand will have Auburn Brewing Company hosting DeKalb County Haunts. They’ll be sharing ghost stories and urban legends from DeKalb County on Thursday, Oct. 20, from 7-8 p.m. with questions to follow.
Come throw back a local craft beer and get ready to be spooked.
