The Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department announced Tuesday morning that Emmy and WGA award-winning writer, actor, and comedian John Mulaney will be at Foellinger Theatre on July 21.
Ticket sales to the general public begin at 10 a.m. Friday, April 8.
The former Saturday Night Live writer won an Emmy for his Netflix standup special, which was recorded during his 2018 Kid Gorgeous tour. His other standup specials include The Comeback Kid and New in Town.
Mulaney also starred on Broadway alongside comedian Nick Kroll on Oh, Hello on Broadway, which was also turned into a Netflix special. The duo also star together on the animated Netflix series Big Mouth.
Mulaney’s stop in Fort Wayne will be a part of his From Scratch tour, which kicks off Thursday, April 7, in Sacramento. The tour will also include regional stops in Columbus, Ohio, on May 20; Chicago on July 14-16; Dayton, Ohio, on Aug. 18; Indianapolis on Aug. 21; Detroit on Sept. 9; Kalamazoo on Sept. 11; and Cleveland on Sept. 23.
