The holidays have been tricky to navigate in the age of COVID. Fortunately there are a few things you can find to do to celebrate.
If you still plan to stay home for the weekend, Honeywell Foundation’s Eugenia’s Restaurant in Wabash, which has helped quarantining locals with its Take & Bake Dinner and Breakfast meals, has a tasty meal planned for Feb. 12.
The cost for dinner is $36 plus tax (feeds 4) and for the breakfast the cost is $18 plus tax (feeds 4+). Dinner options include choice of chicken fried steak or grilled salmon with dill cream sauce; Spanish rice or roasted red potatoes; and broccoli salad or roasted corn with bacon, onions, and peppers. Both entrees come with dinner rolls. Add dessert, caramel apple walnut cobbler, for $14.
On deck for breakfast is pumpkin French toast casserole. Order by 5 p.m. Thursday and pick it up curbside Friday from 4-6 p.m. And the good news is if you’re not feeding a family, there are leftovers for Sunday!
And while you’re in the area, Eugenia’s is also offering a Valentine’s Charcuterie Box for two for $20 plus tax which includes genoa salami, capicola ham, brie, gouda, cheddar, fresh mozzarella, Kalamata olives, Spanish olives, pepperoncini peppers, jam, and crackers.
Order by 5 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 11, and pick it up curbside Friday, Feb. 12, from 4-6 p.m. For more information, visit honeywellarts.org.
