The Sweetwater Performance Pavilion is adding the power ballad perennials of hair metal and hard rock, Night Ranger, to their summer calendar on Friday, July 19.
With more than 17 million albums sold worldwide, Night Ranger has both epitomized and transcended the arena rock sound and style for nearly 40 years. Their rocktastic hook-filled hits have earned them widespread acclaim that includes multi-platinum and gold album status. One thing is for certain, you better bring your singing voice as it will be an evening chock-full of sing-alongs.
Tickets for Night Ranger will go on sale Friday, Feb. 22, at 10 a.m. at the Sweetwater campus and online via eventbrite.com & sweetwaterpavilion.com.
Buckethead and Tesla at the Clyde
With one concert announcement comes a couple more. The Clyde just announced that prog metal guitarist Buckethead will be invading Quimby Village on Wednesday, May 1.
Hailed as one of the fastest, weirdest, and most innovative guitarists of all time, Buckethead is definitely a sight to see. I actually had the pleasure of seeing him during his stint with Guns N’ Roses in the early 2000s and can’t wait to see what he brings on his own.
If that show isn’t enough to have you jumping on the couch, Tesla has been added to the Clyde roster for Monday, June 3. These road warriors are no strangers to the Fort, having performed here on a few occasions over the years and bringing that caterwauling force of energy with them each and every time. They are scheduled to release their eighth studio album, Shock, on March 8, so we’ll be hearing some new numbers that evening.
Shows moving from Piere’s to The Eclectic Room
You may have noticed that a handful of concerts originally scheduled for Piere’s have been moved to The Eclectic Room. As of press time, there is no official word for the move and it appears there are still a few shows remaining on the Piere’s calendar. Whether those will be affected, we’ll have to wait and see.
The shows that will be moving to The Eclectic Room are Jake E. Lee’s Red Dragon Cartel on March 14, Blue October on March 22, 10 Years on March 29, The Winery Dogs on May 15, and Sevendust on May 19. In addition, the Static-X and DevilDriver show has been moved to the Clyde on July 12.
If you previously purchased tickets for these shows, you should have received a refund and you’ll have to repurchase tickets through Ticketweb.

Have a Harp at Summit City Brewerks
It seems like a bit since we’ve seen Dan Dickerson’s Harp Condition out and about and I’m here to inform you that there’s good news. They are scheduled to perform at Summit City Brewerks on Friday, March 1.
Dickerson will be joined that evening by Jim Barlow (Grateful Groove) for some amazing music, good brews, and no cover charge. The Harp Condition is currently working on dates for the spring and summer so be on the lookout for those coming soon.
