As they have for the past five years, Waynedale’s streets will come alive with holiday cheer on Christmas Eve as Santa Claus makes his grand return on a uniquely festive Christmas Trolley.
Head to Waynedale on Tuesday, Dec. 24, to see Santa, the incomparable Mrs. Claus, and some trustworthy, hard-working elves as they tour the neighborhoods waving from a brightly lit trolley decked out for the season.
A newer tradition that encapsulates the magic of the holidays, the planned route begins at 1 p.m. in Indian Village at Wawonaissa Trail and Manito Boulevard, where it will make its way through neighborhoods until it comes to a stop at Lakeshores neighborhood at about 3:15 p.m., allowing Santa just enough time to hook up the reindeer and set off on his annual winter journey to the homes of good little girls and boys.
