The number of concerts announced lately may be a bit coincidental, but with Christmas around the corner, it’s good to get the news out early and get those stockings stuffed.

It’s also good to get these shows on your radar as you begin filling out that new 2025 puppy calendar you just received.

In any event, here are a few shows that were just announced that you cannot go wrong with.

First up, The Clyde is excited to announce An Evening with Joss Stone performing her Less Is More concert on Saturday, Feb. 22.

Stone is a Grammy- and Brit Award-winning artist who at the age of 16 released her acclaimed debut album, The Soul Sessions, in 2003. She’s released nine studio albums, selling more than 15 million copies.

Her talents have led to her performing and collaborating with legendary artists including James Brown, Burt Bacharach, Sting, Jeff Beck, and Mick Jagger.

As for recent work, she released the single “Loving You” in August and is working on a new studio album scheduled for release in 2025.

Following the Stone announcement, The Clyde also announced that Static-X will return to the venue on Wednesday, June 4, during their Machines vs. Monsters Tour with Gwar, Dope, and A Killer’s Confession.

Static-X actually played a pair of shows at The Clyde in 2023, first a makeup show on March 31, followed by their co-headlining tour with Sevendust that October.

The industrial metal act formed in 1994, and following the death of frontman Wayne Static in 2014, the band has forged ahead with the character XerO sharing a similar look to Static.

The band broke out with 1999’s debut album Wisconsin Death Trip, which featured the hit single “Push It.”

Reserved seating for Joss Stone are on sale now at clydetheatre.com and etix.com, over the phone at (800) 514-3849, or in person at The Clyde box office and Sweetwater Sound.

Static-X tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20.

Coheed, Mastodon stomping into Coliseum

Two prog rock and metal perfectors are joining forces in the spring for a 20-city tour.

Dubbed The Infinite Arc Tour, Coheed and Cambria and Mastodon will team up for a proggy dream come true that will have them stopping right here in Fort Wayne for a performance at Memorial Coliseum on Tuesday, June 3.

The tour news comes on the heels of Coheed and Cambria’s announcement of their 10th studio album, The Father of Make Believe, which will be released March 14.

As for Mastodon, this year they celebrated the 15th anniversary of Crack the Skye with a deluxe box set re-issue.

Joining the tour will be prog-metallers Periphery

Tickets can be purchased at ticketmaster.com and at the Coliseum box office.

Etheridge & Indigo, Isbell, Lewis at Embassy

Acclaimed singer-songwriter Melissa Etheridge and folk-rock duo Indigo Girls have announced a massive co-headlining U.S. tour that will kickoff at the Red Rocks Amphitheater on July 25 and will run all the way through Oct. 12.

Lucky for us, the Yes We Are tour will roll through town Saturday, Aug. 16, for a performance at Embassy Theatre.

Etheridge recently released a Paramount+ docuseries called I’m Not Broken and her latest album was 2021’s One Way Out

Indigo Girls released their own documentary, It’s Only Life After All, on digital platforms. They also contributed a song titled “What We Wanna Be” for the musical film Glitter & Doom soundtrack, their first new song in four years.

Then, on Friday, March, 7, the frontman of Staind, Aaron Lewis, will bring his country act Aaron Lewis & The Stateliners to The Embassy.

As a solo artist, Lewis has had two albums reach No. 1 on the Billboard country chart with Town Line in 2011 and Sinner in 2016. His single “Am I the Only One” off the 2021 album Frayed at Both Ends also reached No. 1.

As if those were not enough for The Embassy, they’ve also announced the return of Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit on Monday, July 14.

If you missed their last show at The Embassy in February, don’t make the same mistake this time around.

General public tickets for Indigo Girls and Etheridge go on sale at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19, and Isbell and Lewis tickets for on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20. Get tickets at ticketmaster.com or fwembassytheatre.org or by stopping at The Embassy box office.
