Jay Chandrasekhar wrote, directed, and starred in Super Troopers, arguably one of the greatest comedies of the early ’00s. 

That film’s success allowed his company, Broken Lizard, to achieve a cult status with subsequent films like Club Dread, Beerfest and, of course, Super Troopers 2. 

In addition to his feature film work, Chandrasekhar has directed various TV shows, including several episodes of Arrested Development, Up All Night, Happy Endings, Community, Psych, Undeclared, and The Human Giant. 

When he is not engaged in film or TV, Chandrasekhar tours the country doing stand-up comedy and will stop by the Summit City Comedy Club for five shows, Dec. 5-7.
