Dolly Parton’s Threads: My Songs in Symphony, a multimedia concert experience designed to pair the country superstar’s songs with local orchestras, has announced a performance at Foellinger Theatre on Saturday, May 17, with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic

Although Parton won’t be there in person, she will be featured on screen, leading audiences in a visual-musical journey of her songs, life, and stories.

The Fort Wayne Philharmonic will be accompanied by guest vocalists and musicians. Fort Wayne will be the second stop on the 11-city circuit, which begins March 20 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Threads: My Songs in Symphony, features new and innovative orchestrations of Parton’s hit songs woven into a full-evening multimedia symphonic story-telling experience. Folks can expect to hear her beloved hits spanning her career, including “Jolene,” “Coat of Many Colors,” and “I Will Always Love You,” in addition to her personal favorites.

Tickets are available at fwphil.org.
