Bridging Worlds, a Fort Wayne-based organization whose mission is to enrich and connect the lives of artists and residents in Indiana and beyond, have announced The Bridging Worlds 2024 International Concert Series.

A collaboration with the Chilean Ministry of Arts & Culture, Purdue University Fort Wayne, Indiana University Bloomington, and Honeywell Arts & Education, the concerts are set to be presented Tuesday, Sept. 24, at Manchester High School in North Manchester and Saturday, Sept. 28, at PFW’s Rhinehart Recital Hall.

Both concerts are open to the public and free for all attendees.

Take in the sounds of “Canturia de Mi Sangre” or “Song of My Blood,” a set of original music by composer Kike Galdames, that honors the poetry of Gabriela Mistral, the first Latin American Nobel Prize laureate.

Chilean pianist Claudio Gonzalez will be an accompanying musician, playing the cajon peruano and bongos.
