The Lemonheads have announced the It’s a Shame About/Come On Feel tour, a 24-date trek across the U.S. that will see the band will play their respective 1992 and 1993 albums, It’s a Shame About Ray and Come On Feel The Lemonheads, in full.

The tour comes almost a full year after The Lemonheads celebrated the 30-year anniversary of those albums. To celebrate, the alternative rockers reissued the albums on special-edition vinyl and performed them in full during a three-date stay in Chicago in December.

The tour opens Aug. 28 in Nashville, Tennessee, before making its way to The Grog Shop in Columbus, Ohio, on Sept. 18. Other venues within driving distance include The Vogue in Indianapolis on Sept. 19, The House of Blues in Chicago on Sept. 20, and The Majestic in Detroit on Sept. 21. The final show of the brief run takes place at Skully’s in Columbus, Ohio, on Sept. 28.

Frampton comes alive

Guitar hero Peter Frampton is getting his band back together for the Positively Thankful Tour.

The nine-date outing takes place before his induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in October.

Sadly, the tour has only one stop in our region: MGM Northfield Park near Cleveland on Sept. 23.

Consider it a bonus chance to catch the legend who had called it quits in 2019 after being diagnosed with Inclusion Body Myositis, a degenerative muscle disease.

Frampton returned to the stage last year with his Never Say Never Tour, and told fans that he was still “feeling strong” after his diagnosis.

Lauryn Hill, Fugees reunite

Lauryn Hill has announced she’s heading back out on the road for a co-headlining tour with the reunited Fugees starting in August.

Celebrating the recent 25th anniversary of The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, the 21-date trek will also feature Hill’s son YG Marley as a special guest.

The Celebration Continues tour is essentially a do-over from last year’s The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 25th Anniversary Tour, which Hill was forced to cancel after just a few dates due to “serious vocal strain.”

Catch the excitement when Hill and The Fugees visit Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati on Aug. 28 and Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre outside Chicago on Aug. 31.
