An opening reception for artist Bryan “Breadwig” Ballinger will be Friday, March 29, from 6-9 p.m. at Dash-In, 814 S. Calhoun St. 

Ballinger is a muralist, toy designer, and children’s book illustrator who has, among other things, worked as the 3D Design Lead at Big Idea Productions, alongside the producers of VeggieTales, taught Digital Media Arts for 16 years at Huntington University, illustrated the Explorapedia children’s encyclopedia series, and authored several children’s books including Animal Gas. 

Ballinger’s murals can be seen around the state including Blue Birds in the alley behind JK O’Donnell’s.
