For many people, Christmas just isn’t Christmas until they see The Nutcracker.
The classic 18th century Tchaikovsky ballet, following the story of a nutcracker that comes to life to wage a battle against the evil Mouse King on Christmas Eve, has become a Christmas season tradition for many and will be presented this year at historic Embassy Theatre.
Four performances of Nutcracker at the Embassy, produced by Project Ballet, a Fort Wayne-based non-profit organization providing ballet training for our region’s youth, will take place Dec. 2-3, featuring a cast of more than 100 local children.
