Another weekend means another fantastic festival at the legendary Buck Lake Ranch.

The Hoot is a weekend music festival featuring local newgrass favorites Debutants as they return for two days of great music and family fun, bringing some of their favorite bands and artists with them.

Debutants released their first EP earlier this year, appropriately titled Indiana Newgrass, and plan to show off those tunes, along with some cover tunes you might already know, when they take to the Coors Light Legends stage not once, not twice, but three times during the weekend.

Also joining in on the fun will be Grateful Groove (playing two sets), URB, Kyle Haller Band, SunGate, The Harp Condition, Phil Plays Dead, Stardust Social Club, and Philos. The music starts Friday night, Aug. 13, and continues all day Saturday, Aug. 14. Tent and RV camping will be available at the family entertainment complex for those wanting to take in the full experience but day passes are available as well if you would rather go home and sleep in your own bed at the end of the night.

Buck Lake Ranch is located two miles west of Angola and is often recognized as the “Nashville of the North” as it has hosted some of America’s greatest music legends since 1947.
