The YLNI Farmers Market is making a move out of Olde East End Building to Barr Street for the summer.
The outdoor location between East Washington Boulevard and Berry Street will be open every Saturday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., allowing the popular market to expand to as many as 150 vendors weekly.
Fresh produce is always the big draw with crafts and homemade goods also popular among patrons looking for something they won’t get at big-box retailers.
Continuing through Sept. 30, the market routinely draws crowds of up to 12,000 shoppers every week.
Pony rides and cornhole tournaments are new additions this year while Junior Achievement will bring back their popular entrepreneurship marketplace.
