Since 1970, the original Tom’s Donuts at 807 N. Wayne St. in Angola has been serving up some of the best fried bread around, making it a destination spot for anyone who wants some of the finer sweet treats in the area. The shop even set a Guinness World Record last year by making and selling more than 8,500 doughnuts in eight hours.
Now, The Donut Capital of the World has plans to show us how to party as well when the Tom’s Donuts Memorial Day Block Party takes place at the Angola eatery on May 27, beginning at 9 a.m.
The Donut Eating Contest will highlight the day’s activities that also include contests, tournaments, amazing food, and music.
What better way to kick off the summer?
