A Fort Wayne community fixture is recognizing its longtime place in the city Sunday, April 16, as Sophia’s Portico, established in the Summit City in 1992, will hold a 30th Anniversary Party at Beacon Heights Church of the Brethren.
The organization, focused on the development of the feminine through education, arts, and earth-based spirituality, regularly celebrates the solstices and equinoxes in addition to hosting an annual Winter Art Fair and regular programs like Sophia’s Drum Circle, a Zen discussion group, a meditation group, and an Enneagram energy discussion.
Enjoy music and refreshments as the organization shares stories from its 30-year history and looks toward the future.
