Quick Hit: ‘Rediscovering Fort Wayne’s Irishtown’
ARCH lecture held at Cinema Center on March 18
ARCH’s 2023 Fun & Free Lecture Series will present the third of a five-part series of interest to fans of our community’s heritage.
At 1 p.m. Saturday, March 18, Rob Stone will stop by Cinema Center to present a historic neighborhood’s heritage in Rediscovering Fort Wayne’s Irishtown. Stone will preview his upcoming book about the neighborhood and take a look back at the history of the neighborhood, talk about the architecture, discuss economic development, and reveal how it came to its present state.
Attendees will also learn who lived in the historic houses during Fort Wayne’s past while putting their stamp on the city’s future.
