Quick Hit: Recovery Rocks
Third annual event slated for Sept. 18 at Sweetwater Performance Pavilion
The third annual Recovery Rocks will be at Sweetwater Performance Pavilion on Sept. 18 from 2-6 p.m.
If you’re feeling alone, needing some hope, grieving the loss of a loved one, or simply wanting to learn, this event was created for you as it aims to connect people to resources within the community.
There will be music, speakers, a wide range of resources, a family bicycle ride, food trucks, vendors, and an event tent with activities for kids as well as door prizes, a raffle, and a silent auction.
Members of the National Alliance on Mental Illness will be available to answer questions and help network with other community organizations who support the goal of increasing public awareness and ending the stigma associated with mental illness and substance use disorders.
