Stopping by Summit City Comedy Club on Feb. 7 for one show
Comedian Maria Bamford will make a special appearance Tuesday, Feb. 7, at the Summit City Comedy Club.
Bamford, the first female comic to have two half-hour Comedy Central Presents specials, has starred alongside Patton Oswalt, Zach Galifianakis, and Brian Posehn in the Comedy Central series The Comedians of Comedy.
In town for just one show, she will hit the stage to showcase more of the complicated, playful, and emotionally exposing comedy that made her semi-autobiographical Netflix series Lady Dynamite a hit for the streaming giant.
Weakness is still her brand and Bamford’s journey towards self-acceptance in a world that mystifies her often results in hilarious situations that are told in a her unique voice.
If you have hopes and dreams yet to be achieved, let Bamford be the poor example from which your greatness can be determined.
