A unique music experience takes place at Sweetwater Sound on Friday, March 31, at 7 p.m. when the Furious Bongos pay tribute to the ever-evolving jazz-rock creativity of iconic music innovator Frank Zappa.
During this “raise-your-eyebrows kind of fun” rock show, the band will pay respect to Zappa’s legacy in a new and dangerously fun way. The band’s members have spent time playing with Frank Zappa’s son Dweezil as well as Yo Yo Ma, Mick Fleetwood, BB King, and a lot of other well-respected musicians.
It’s safe to say the band take to heart Zappa’s philosophy that live performances were entertainment.
