Quick Hit: Deer Park celebrates Fat Tuesday

Not only is Deer Park Irish Pub one of the best places in the city to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, the folks there also know how to celebrate Mardi Gras in a big way. 

Stop by Tuesday, Feb. 21, to join in the celebration featuring Skip and his Zydeco band, starting at 6:30 p.m. 

There will be beads aplenty when you stop by to meet King Rex as he presents authentic New Orleans King’s Cake. Abita Brewing beers out of Louisiana will be available for purchase all day long to quench your thirst and, of course, Deer Park will have a feast of jambalaya and muffletta sandwiches on the menu for those wishing to immerse themselves in the experience. 

Oh, by the way, you won’t want to forget the pączkis for dessert. Did we mention there will be beads? Of course, there will be beads.
