Día de los Muertos is a Mexican holiday in which families welcome back the souls of the deceased and celebrate their brief reunion with food, drink, and festive activities.

Confluence Kitchen will take advantage of the observance of this year’s Day of the Dead to celebrate Mexican cuisine and culture with a variety of activities at Promenade Park on Friday, Nov. 4, from 4-9 p.m.

An exciting day is planned, topped off with a screening of the Disney movie Coco, which was inspired by the annual holiday.

All ages are welcome, but space is limited to just 80 — not counting those that may be attending but are no longer with us — so purchase $5 tickets in advance at fortwayneparks.org to guarantee admission.
