Beer to cheer southeast Fort Wayne
News and Venues
September 2, 2020
With a diverse offering of local breweries, there are plenty of new brews available every week in the Fort Wayne area.
Every so often one of those beers is part of a celebration of local efforts to improve the city. On Saturday, Sept. 5, Junk Ditch Brewing Company partners with Hyper Local Impact to release Hyper Local Pale Ale, a tribute to an effort to improve the quality of life in the southeast corner of town.
In recent decades, the other three quadrants of the city as well as the downtown area have seen tremendous growth and revitalization. But funding for such change in southeast Fort Wayne has been lagging.
To assist, the Family & Friends Fund for Southeast Fort Wayne is raising money from local residents and businesses who are happy to invest in the future of southeast Fort Wayne.
The release of Hyper Local Pale Ale takes place Saturday night from 5-8 p.m. at Junk Ditch Brewing on West Main Street with proceeds benefiting Family & Friends Fund for Southeast Fort Wayne.
For more information and to see how you can contribute to the growth of Fort Wayne, Hyper Local Impact is on social media, including Facebook and Instagram. They’re doing big things and making progress in a short amount of time, and the support of local businesses like Junk Ditch is appreciated.
