The thing about beloved bands - they do have a tendency to break up, leaving die hard fans in mourning about the live shows they never had a chance to see. If your favorite group just happens to be Led Zeppelin, though, you're in luck because the guys from Zoso: The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience are working tirelessly to recreate not only the seminal music of Robert Plant and company but the one-of-a-kind atmosphere of Led Zepp live and in person.
Zoso formed in 1995, the same year Led Zeppelin were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Since then, they've played more than 2,000 gigs, touring both in U.S. and internationally, priding themselves on the authenticity of their sound, look and style. As such, it's difficult to tell the Zoso member from the man he portrays on stage. Zoso are Matt Jernigan as Robert Plant, John McDaniel as Jimmy Page, Adam Sandling as John Paul Jones and Bevan Davies as John Bonham.
Zoso have been successful at both winning over veteran Led Zeppelin listeners and wooing a whole new generation of fans into the fold.
If you missed the Hammer of the Gods the first time around, might want to check out Zoso. They'll grace the state at the Clyde Theater Saturday, June 23 at 8 p.m.
