It’s almost time for the Bluffton Street Fair once again. The festival, held on the streets of downtown Bluffton, takes place Sept. 17-21.

This year’s theme is “Building Dreams, Making Memories,” and there will be plenty of opportunities available to do both during the traditional fall festival.

The Grand Opening Parade kicks things off in grand fashion at 7 p.m. Tuesday, followed by a Classic and Antique Car Show and Parade on Wednesday night. Poor Jack Amusements will be on hand once again to provide rides, games, and thrills to patrons in the Midway.

Several contests will take place during the festival including Culinary and Needlework competitions and Flowers & Agriculture shows. Wheels of Yesteryear, a Midway parade of Antique Tractors and such, takes place before the Industrial Parade on Thursday, followed by a star-studded professional wrestling exhibition presented by FNX Wrestling on Friday night.

Saturday brings the celebration to a close in a big way with the traditional Kid’s Day featuring discounted rides, a Diaper Derby, a 3- to 7-year-old tractor pull, a big wheel race, the prince and princess contest, and a children’s talent show.

The 11th annual Bluffton Street Fair Idol also talks place Saturday featuring some of the area’s biggest talents competing for cash prizes and bragging rights.

To top it all off, you’ll want to catch E5C4P3 The Journey Tribute, along the banks of the Wabash River in Kehoe Park.
