Rock fans unite! The one and only Sebastian Bach is returning to Fort Wayne for a performance at The Clyde Theatre on Thursday, Nov. 18.

The late 1980s iconic frontman for mainstream heavy metal/hard rock act Skid Row remains one of the most relevant rock figures in pop culture today. Although Bach has been solo for quite some time, he will revisit his Skid Row past on this tour, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the band’s Slave to the Grind album.

The double-platinum selling album was the first heavy metal album to chart at number one on the Billboard 200 thanks to singles “Monkey Business,” “Wasted Time,” and the title track. The tour will run from September through December and will see the singer performing the album in its entirety.

Joining Bach at The Clyde will be Detroit rock veterans Kaleido

Tickets can be purchased online at Clydetheatre.com as well as at the Clyde box office, Neat Neat Neat Records, all Wooden Nickel locations, and the Sweetwater concierge desk. You can also call (800) 514-3849.

Pedal to the metal for Chevelle

In more big tour news, multi-platinum rockers Chevelle will be heading back on the road this fall in support of their ninth studio album, NIRATIAS, which stands for Nothing Is Real And This Is A Simulation.

Lucky for us, the tour really will stop at The Clyde on Friday, Nov. 5, at 8 p.m. All ages are welcome for this general admission affair with tickets going on sale to the public on Friday, July 30, at 10 a.m.

Celebrate local Brewery

Your favorite Spring Street brewery, Fortlandia Brewing Co., will be celebrating its second anniversary on Aug. 6 and 7. There will be plenty of space to hangout in the taproom and event tent where you can enjoy food served from the Hot Dog Boyz plus karaoke on Friday and live music on Saturday by Monica Morris and Andy Pauquette

Fortlandia will be pouring those tasty brews along with a couple special releases just for the event. Rally up your buddies and help to celebrate this special occasion.

Midwestern music and art

On Friday, July 30, Jess Thrower, Incas, Calder the Band, and Runner will be the musical acts performing at The Muse on Main from 7-11 p.m.

The event, Midwest Expression Art & Music Showcase, will not only have top-notch local music but will also include a number of physical artists showcasing their talent, including Amari Wiley, Jaden Rice, Ron Record, Jaxson Kidd, and Emily Whisman

The Wood Smoked food truck will be on site serving smoked meats and sandwiches. This is an all-ages event with advance tickets as low as $8. Tickets can be purchased at themuseonmain.com.

Southern Charm

Alabama natives and rising country group Sweet Tea Trio will be rolling into town on Friday, Aug. 13, for a performance at the Rockstar Lounge.

The all-female trio is known for their harmonies which they sing with a beautiful blend of southern charm and a touch of country twang. Their lyrics are honest and their music is full of roots and authenticity.

Sweet Tea Trio have performed with the likes of Alabama, Kid Rock, and Bon Jovi. They were named Alabama’s Country Female Artist of the Year in 2016.

Doors will open at 7 p.m. with two local openers to be announced hitting the stage. Home-smoked BBQ plates will be available to fill your belly. Tickets can be purchased through TicketWeb.com.
