Local guitarist Kellen Baker (Uncle Muscle, Namen Namen, The B45’s) has just released a three-song EP titled Super-Mega-Maxi Single #1.

The talented Baker wrote, recorded, and played all the instruments on the EP. This all took place in his basement with a basic iPhone and SM57 and SM58 microphone setup.

One of the tracks featured on the new release is “The Devil’s Sandwich.” According to Baker, “It’s an ode to the classic, unforgettable, unbeatable, Smuckers Uncrustables. Possibly the all-time greatest feat in sandwich engineering. I would definitely fight the devil for that one.”

See, you don’t have to have a dog run away or a woman break your heart for something to write about.

The EP is available on all major streaming platforms.

After speaking to Baker, I get the hunch we will be seeing more tracks released in the near future.
