Everyone’s favorite holiday tradition is returning to the Baker Street Centre on Saturday, Dec. 11, at 6 p.m. Formerly known as the C2G Christmas Show, this annual event features a handful of top-notch local musicians performing beloved Christmas classics. 

The Christmas Show is the perfect opportunity to get in the holiday spirit with family, friends, and live music by Jeff McRae & Rich Lysaght, Alicia Pyle & Mike Conley, The Paper Heart, and Smooth Edge 2. Conley will also act as emcee for the evening. 

New this year is an Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest, so make sure to don your ugliest winter wardrobe as the winner will receive two free tickets to a Baker Street concert in ’22. In addition, don’t forget to bring a canned good as all proceeds benefit the Community Harvest Food Bank. 

General admission tickets are $10 and with Gold Circle seating $20. They can be purchased via Etix.com. 

CD release party for Ty Causey

The Tiger Room at Welch’s Ale House will be the setting for Ty Causey’s U-Turn CD release party on Saturday, Nov. 27, from 8-11 p.m. This Thanksgiving weekend shindig will have Causey performing songs from the new album in addition to other R&B, Motown, and funk numbers. This will be a 21-and-older event with limited seating. 

Admission is $7 at the door and make sure to bring a few extra bucks and take a copy of U-Turn home with ya.  

Sublime tribute band returns to Clyde

The Clyde Theatre have announced the return of Badfish: A Tribute to Sublime on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022, at 8 p.m. The show will mark two years since they last strolled through town having played at The Clyde in Feb. ’20, right before the pandemic shut the world down. 

This time around, Badfish will be on the road for their “20 Year Anniversary” tour. What sets this Rhode Island trio apart from other tributes is that they replicate Sublime’s essence and energy to a tee and have gained a following that you would normally get from label signed, mainstream acts. 

Opening the show will be Kash’d Out and Dale and the ZDubs

Cooper to take Honeywell stage

Speaking of announcements, the Honeywell Center is proud to announce that Alice Cooper will perform on Monday, Jan. 31, at 7:30 p.m. At 73 years old, Cooper is one of the most iconic and recognizable music legends in rock history with a career spanning 50 years and a plethora of hits. 

The Godfather of Shock Rock will bring his theatrical stage show to Wabash that an evening and take folks through his catalog that includes “No More Mr. Nice Guy,” “I’m Eighteen,” “School’s Out,” and “Poison.” Reserved seating tickets are on sale now at Honeywellcenter.org. There are also VIP packages that include a meet and greet with Cooper.
