American drummer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist Nick D’Virgilio will be doing a livestream on Friday, May 14, at 4 p.m. from the Sweetwater Studios.

D’Virgilio may not be a household name to some of you, but the man has quite the resume.

The California native is probably best known as a member of the progressive rock band Spock’s Beard. But he has also worked with the likes of Tears for Fears, Genesis, Sheryl Crow, Eric Burden and the Animals, and Peter Gabriel

D’Virgilio joined Sweetwater Sound in 2014, where he creates how-to content, demonstration videos, and product reviews. He also teaches music and pro audio classes and serves as the Sweetwater Studios’ first-call drummer.

Now that you know the man, it is time you know his music. D’Virgilio and his band will perform his latest album Invisible in its entirety. This wonderful piece was released last June on the Sweetwater Studios label and has gained rave reviews.

Ticket bundles for the livestream range from $25-$65 and can be purchased at boxoffice.mandolin.com. For those of you wondering about the sheer breadth of his ability, this is your best opportunity.
