The Embassy Theatre announced that it will host the legendary rock band Chicago on Sunday, April 10. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees are responsible for mega-hits such as “25 or 6 to 4,” “Saturday in the Park,” “Feelin’ Stronger Every Day,” and “You’re the Inspiration.” 

Together, they have recorded 37 albums, sold more than 100 million records, and are one of the longest-running and best-selling music groups of all time. 2022 will mark the band’s 55th consecutive year of touring. From the signature sound of the Chicago horns and a few dozen classic hits, this show is a must see.

Christmas at the Clyde to be special event

Get ready to rally the troops and head on over to Quimby Village on Sunday, Dec. 12, for a special Christmas celebration. 

Christmas at The Clyde will take place throughout the Clyde complex that day where you will have the opportunity to visit with Santa on the Club Room stage, enjoy decorating sugar cookies and drinking cocoa with Mrs. Claus at Crescendo Coffee, and catch a show by A Nashville Family Christmas at The Clyde. 

Originally formed to perform for The Nashville Network, A Nashville Family Christmas has celebrated the holiday season with dazzling country music performances for more than 20 years. Now performing across the Midwest, the group delights people of all ages by using music to bring Christmas cheer.

Ambrosia to host bevy of local musicians

Ambrosia Orchard, Cidery & Meadery will have an intimate music experience on the evening of Saturday, Dec. 4, from 7-9 p.m. 

Performing will be the one and only Atticus Sorrell (The Be Colony/Todd Harrold Collective). Sorrell will be performing an acoustic set full of ’60s and ’70s music, with a few originals thrown in — everything from Al Green to Neil Young to Merle Haggard. If you have witnessed Sorrell in action, you know what kind of spectacle you are in for. 

Ambrosia is a family-friendly venue, so plan on bringing the crew. Best part: it’s free! 

This show will be the first of many intimate shows coming to Ambrosia that include Amara Gilraine on Dec. 11, Carolyn Martin on Dec. 18, Jess Thrower on Jan. 8, String Theory on Jan. 14, and The Goat’s Beard on Jan. 22.     

Get your fill of Pink Floyd at Piere’s

Calling all Pink Floyd fans out there! If you are pinching your pennies during this holiday season, there is good news because Piere’s is hosting a free Pink Floyd tribute show on Saturday, Dec. 4, at 8 p.m. 

In the Flesh – Echoes of Pink Floyd will hit the stage that evening to recreate the unique and psychedelic sound of the legendary rock band.
