The Kehoe Park Summer Concert Series in Bluffton is gearing up for another season beginning June 11 and continuing through Aug. 6.

The free concerts take place along the banks of the Wabash River in Bluffton. Grab a chair or blanket, kick back, and take in some good live music.

The calendar includes The Insider: A Tom Petty Tribute on June 11, Gospel Celebration on June 13, Nick Harless Band on June 25, Completely Unchained: Van Halen Tribute on July 16, Tom Frye Band on July 18, Big Bang Baby: Stone Temple Pilots Tribute on Aug. 6, and Casual Friday on Aug. 8.

Kehoe Park is located behind the Dutch Mill Plaza on Indiana 1 in Bluffton. The rain site for all concerts is Bluffton Middle School.

Kekionga Party

On Saturday, June 12, the Kekionga Craft Company is turning four years old. To celebrate, the cider crafters will be throwing themselves a party chock-full of tasty ciders, guest beers, and house wines, plus an exclusive mead will be tapped for the occasion.

In addition, there will be swag giveaways all day long, food by Lucille’s BBQ, and live music. You already have something going on that day? No need to worry as the festivities will run from noon to 10 p.m., plenty of time to squeeze in some Kekionga.

Whether you are a fan of the Old Bicorne, Watermelon Gumballs, Para Mis Amigos, or another one of their tasty concoctions, make it a point to stop by and give them a big birthday pat on the back.

Gnome Trivia

The Hoppy Gnome is set to host another themed trivia night on Monday, June 14, from 6:30-9 p.m.

So far, they have done everything from Friends to Seinfeld to The Office to Disney, to name a few. Now they will be doing a New Girl-themed night based on the TV sitcom starring Zooey Deschanel.

Round up some friends and head to the Gnome for trivia, a limited edition “True American” beer, New Girl-themed food, and prizes. As always, costumes are encouraged. Tickets are available now for $30 per ticket or $100 for a team of four and can be purchased at gnometownbrewing.com/events.

Thunderstruck again

One thing is for certain, Thunderstruck — America’s AC/DC Ultimate Tribute sure loves Fort Wayne. In the last couple of years, they have performed at The Clyde Theatre on a couple occasions, Ribfest, and more recently Rockstar Lounge.

We can now add The Eclectic Room to that list as the band is set to perform on the evening of Saturday, June 5. If your youngsters haven’t seen them yet, this is an all-ages event. General admission and VIP tickets are on sale now via TicketWeb.com.

Make sure to arrive on time to see our very own ShovelHead open the show at 7 p.m.
