In April, The Clyde Theatre hosted the inaugural Debutants Ball, a carnival-type atmosphere that featured everything from aerial performers to a man on stilts and music by the local bluegrass act Debutants

Those that were lucky enough to attend witnessed something unique and memorable. Hopefully it’s an event that will carry on for years to come.

Well, we won’t have to wait too long until the band returns to The Clyde after the announcement of Day of the Debs, a spooky sequel to Debutants Ball, at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29.

There will be costumes, a Bazaar Bizarre vendor market, Debutants-inspired food, drink specials, and a few surprises. Of course, there will be music by the Debs that will include two full sets as well as special guest performers.

Tickets go on sale Friday, Sept. 30, at clydetheatre.com, by calling (800) 514-3849, or visiting The Clyde box office, all Wooden Nickel Records locations, Neat Neat Neat Records, and Sweetwater Sound.
